SugarMumma app for iPhone and iPad

SugarMumma is an App that aims to support women with Gestational Diabetes Mellitus. It has been developed by clinicians and researchers at The University of Canberra.

This app does not provide any medical diagnosis or treatment advice for patients using the app. It simply enables already diagnosed users to log and collate data to assist their medical professionals make decisions regarding their treatment.

The SugarMumma app was designed to enable women with gestational diabetes to record their medication regimes, activity levels and weight. In addition, user are encouraged to enter their daily intake of carbohydrates and record their blood glucose levels multiple times a day. This data can then be collated to create reports for primary care physicians to ensure there is clear communication and understanding between patients and their health care providers.

All data collected is anonymous and de-identified.
